Ha!!! They just lambasted Jones. Holy shit. About Cook: "He stinks."
They weren't very kind to Rudock either - but at least with Jake, he has other options and if it wasn't for the season he had here, I doubt he would have declared at all.

I've read before that the average NFL QB has a Wonderlic around 25, but the average winning NFL QB (record above .500) has a score in the lower 30s.
Take that FWIW.
I honestly don't think Cardele Jones is dumb. He is unfiltered, and needs to mature a bit. But he still could get it together. I'd take him in the NFL Draft over either Cook, behind Hackenberg.
Nate Sudfeld is one guy who should be higher IMO (projected 5th round to undrafted free agent). Bad luck with injuries late in his career but he has raw talent.
I think the Rudock part was sort of a backhanded compliment. They basically said "he was very average, and he doesn't pass the look test, but he tore it up at Michigan" so it's a scout's nightmare because they don't really know what kind of guy they're getting.
It will be interesting to see who has the better NFL career. I wanted Cardale to sign with Michigan when he had an offer. I'm glad things worked out for him in college. This is more of a compliment to Cardale.
Jones had an amazing three game stretch - crickets before and after though. If Cook can grow up and learn how to lead, his upside will far outstrip Cardale's.
Cook has accuracy issues on short throws. He can grow from them, but Cardale is a winner when given the chance to start. Have you given any thought to Cardale's upside? The Buffalo Bills are high on it.
