Marvin Bagley III was preparing to enter his senior year of high school 48 hours ago as the consensus top-ranked basketball prospect in the Class of 2018 (and probably the most highly regard college basketball prospect regardless of class).
Last night, he suddenly declared that he was done with high school, and he's now enrolling at Duke to play this year.

How does this sort of thing happen at this time of year? Even assuming that the decision-making process to accelerate his college career was nowhere near as sudden as it appears to us outsiders, this whole thing kind of boggles my mind.
