He knows where his outlets are when a play breaks down. The play where he found Eubanks with the pass rush in his face was a great example. He is very accurate, even on then move. He reads the defense well. Only threw one ball into traffic that I recall. That's his advantage over Milton, knowing where the receivers are and who should be open. The OL played better for him, too. I think that's because he got the offense in rhythm. Also, the OL is young, seemed to gel as the game wore on.

Eubanks is a horrible blocker. If I need a block, I'd rather see All in that spot. I like our receiver group, who are also young, but Johnson is really coming on, Jackson is so explosive, and Sanristil is a nice possession receiver with quickness. Of course, Bell is the veteran and just tough to bring down. With Cade, we saw more of the speed in space tonight. I loved how hard our backs and receivers ran. Lot of yards after contact. Haskins especially. Charbonnet is our best pass blocking back.

I feel so much better about the offense after tonight. The defense, OTOH, has bigger issues. The DL is slow and doesn't get much push, although they had their moments. Without McGrone, we're also slow at LB. Shipley is coming on, though, and made some plays. Dax struggled at safety, taking a bad angle on one long pass and and getting caught too shallow on the TD pass in the third quarter. Green and Reynolds played well. Hawkins going down is a blow, but Reynolds stepped in and up.

Nordin's miss in OT was troubling. The two long misses in regulation, one on a bad snap, don't bother me that much. Moody has always been the most consistent kicker. Do we go back to him? We got good punting from Robbins again. Kick coverage was good. Jackson covered 95 yards in about 11 sec. on his TD kickoff return. They kept kicking off to the right sideline, and Jackson was finding a lane down the sideline. I wonder if we made an adjustment on the blocking which sprung Jackson.

Schiano is earning his pay. RU is so much improved from last season. He's gotten some top notch transfers. Glad to get out of Piscataway with a W.
