I easily could have missed some players but I saw the following players on the field.
  • FB - Ben Mason: He was a monster on special teams. I have a feeling his going to be one of my favorites.
  • WR - Tarik Black: He had a heck a debut. His two catches were both big plays and the TD was great.
  • WR - Donovan Peoples-Jones: He didn't record a catch but I thought he was really impressive returning punts. His athletic ability is obvious and really stood out. He also seems to have a Peppers' like ability to field just about every punt and save the offense some hidden yards.
  • OT - Andrew Steuber: I didn't notice him but he was listed on the player participation chart as a special teams contributor.
  • DE - Kwity Paye: I didn't notice him but he was listed on the player participation chart as a DE.
  • DT - Aubrey Solomon: It looked like he got some reps in the 4th quarter. I assume they'll keep bringing him along slowly this season.
  • LB - James Ross: I didn't notice him but he was listed on the player participation chart as a special teams contributor.
  • CB - Ambry Thomas: He was good on kickoff coverage and forced the fumble in the second half. He also took some reps at corner in the second half.
  • CB - Benjamin St Juste: I only saw him on special teams.
  • S - J'Marick Woods: I only saw him on special teams.
I actually expected a few more guys to play. I'm a little surprised that none of the linebackers made the rotation, but it would be great if were able to save some of the 2017 class' eligibility. This is a talented group. We're already very good and things are just going to keep getting better.
