And right now (and once again) Michigan has one of the best defensive minds in all of football guiding its fortunes. Brown may well be the best defensive coordinator at Michigan since Coach Mac.
(Interestingly, Don James was the DC for Michigan back in the mid-60s. Never understood why he left to take the same position at CU.)
