I wonder if Ondre Pipkins could have helped out the DL now that Bryan Mone is done for the season after breaking his leg in fall camp.

No. He would have been helping long ago coming in as a 5 star recruit and his entire career was plagued by injuries including a severe neck injury. It was not a Harbaugh conspiracy to kick him out of the program. He did nothing at UM when he was healthy and he was hurt 90% of the time. It is not uncommon for a coach to advise a player to leave for medical reasons. Losing Mone does hurt but we will be fine.
