Has Rashan Gary been a disappointment as some have written on this board? No.
Has he been double teamed nearly every snap? No.
I can't speak to the Florida game for sure - didn't break it down for Rashan, just this past game.
But he was double teamed a handful of plays. Beyond that, Cincy managed to limit his stats by getting the ball out of their quarterback's hands quickly.
Gary dominated in his one on one match ups, but Cincinnati made it a point to get the ball out before he could get to the QB. Still he had a much bigger impact on this game than the stat line would suggest - in fact there were 2 or 3 plays where he should have gotten credit for QBH or assist but didn't.
Here is what he did against the Bearcats. Obvious the offense game planned for him and the rest of the DL. To me that says he is living up to the hype.
