he's an interesting guy to pursue because I'm not sure how he fits into our team/roster. Don't get me wrong, he's really talented. Elite level rebounding and shot blocking and good interior scoring. But he's not exactly big at 6'8" 210 lbs which makes you think Beilein would see him as a 4. Except in 2 years at SJSU he is a total of 2/9 on 3 point attempts which doesn't exactly fit what we ask a 4 to do in our offense.
So assuming Mo Wagner leaves after this season, you are potentially left with Austin Davis, Jon Teske, and Taylor Currie that could compete for minutes at the 5. Now maybe one of those guys isn't there or maybe Currie shows a 3 point shot that lets him play minutes at the 4. It's just hard to fit Clarke into what our roster has looked like in the past. Is Beilein willing to tweak things to have a nonshooter at the 4 spot?
