Have to be the proudest of all Americans, right? I mean, with all the championships won by the Celtics, Bruins, Patriots and Red Sox, they're living in sports Nirvana year-round. Plus, they have all that patriotic history, with the Boston Tea Party, the Minutemen, Paul Revere, etc. And they can claim the great rock band Boston, not to mention the J. Geils Band and others; and they have the Wahlbergs and Matt Damon and Ben Affleck! My goodness, it's an embarrassment of riches on the pride front!
Okay, I'm not jealous or anything--I'll take our Detroit/Michigan traditions over anyone's any day--but it's difficult not to be impressed by the history and accomplishments of Boston (and, by extension, New England).
That having been said, Go Dodgers!
