*** Big-time 2022 Westerville (Ohio) South athlete Kaden Saunders will make an unofficial visit to Michigan on March 1 for the program's elite day. Saunders has a Michigan offer in hand and is very high on the Wolverines early on. He visited in the fall and is excited to get back to campus. He also has offers from Michigan State, Notre Dame, Penn State and others.
*** Rising 2022 Pleasant Hill (Iowa) Southeast Polk cornerback Xavier Nwankpa is also slated to visit Michigan on March 1. Nwankpa doesn't have a Michigan offer just yet, but he is firmly on the radar and is a recruit to monitor moving forward. He has early offers from Iowa, Nebraska, Notre Dame and others.
*** Michigan recently released its summer camp schedule, and rising 2022 Sparta (N.J.) Pope John XXIII quarterback Peter Delaportas is locked in to make his way to Ann Arbor in June. The Wolverines swung by his school during the contact period, and he is a prospect they are watching closely. Delaportas has offers from Kentucky, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and others.
*** Michigan recently offered rising 2022 San Diego (Calif.) St. Augustine athlete Jalil Tucker and is working to get him in for a visit. Tucker plans to stay out West this spring and is looking to see Arizona and Arizona State soon. However, he would like to make out of region trips in the summer, and Michigan may be a destination.
