Here are tonight's Blue Chips...
*** I'm starting to feel more and more like three-star Fresno (Calif.) Central wide receiver Xavier Worthy is trending away from Michigan. I posted an update on him earlier today. Since then, I have gone ahead and flipped my pick from Michigan to Oregon. The Ducks present an opportunity for him to stay out West and play in an open offense. Worthy is set to make his decision on June 27.
*** I put in an early pick for Worthy to Michigan. At the time, there was a lot of confidence that Worthy would end up at Michigan. Then his recruitment took off overnight. Worthy became one of the hottest recruits in America, and obviously that changed the complexion of his recruitment. Michigan will continue to recruit worth hard and won't stop its pursuit even after his commitment date. The hope is to get him to campus.
*** There have been some concerns about Michigan and Rivals250 Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei wide receiver Cristian Dixon, who put out an ominous tweet that he may end up at a program not on his top schools list. Look, I think Dixon is getting tired of the Dixon to Michigan talk. I also feel like he's getting beaten down by the process. Dixon is an introverted kid, and I don't get the sense that he likes those outside his inner circle knowing where he's leaning. I did talk to a source close to Dixon today that confirmed that Michigan is still in a strong position and said that Dixon is looking to visit as soon as possible.
*** Lastly, Michigan has not stopped recruiting Rivals100 Notre Dame wide receiver commit Lorenzo Styles. This wasn't just a one call situation. Styles has kept in contact with Michigan throughout the dead period, and I still feel like a visit is definitely in the cards. Styles also happens to be friends with Michigan quarterback commit JJ McCarthy. While Michigan is trending up in the recruiting rankings, Notre Dame is falling. I still think the door is open here.
