*** Rivals100 Needham (Mass.) St. Sebastian's tight end Louis Hansen has been one of the most solid commits in the class. However, that hasn't stopped other schools from reaching out. I'm told that Notre Dame sent out a feeler message to the Hansen family a couple of days ago. Boston College, meanwhile, has never stopped recruiting Hansen. With that said, I have no reason to believe that Hansen is seriously entertaining Notre Dame or Boston College at this time. He remains in contact with the Michigan staff on a weekly basis and is happy with his verbal pledge. By the way, Hansen measured in at 6'5 1/2, 236 pounds and clocked a 4.71 laser 40 last weekend.
*** Rising 2022 Brookline (Mass.) Dexter offensive lineman Sully Weidman recently took a self-guided tour of Michigan, which resulted in me putting in a FutureCast pick for the Wolverines. However, I mentioned that Michigan was going to have some discussions about Weidman. While I feel like Weidman would like to jump onboard early on, I'm told Michigan is pumping the brakes. I don't believe the Wolverines would like to take an early commitment from Weidman at this time. And I agree with the move. Weidman is still raw and needs more time to be properly evaluated.
*** Lastly, I can't reiterate enough how important of a target Lynn (Mass.) St. John's athlete Joenel Aguero will be in the 2023 recruiting class. Aguero participated in a local camp with Hansen last weekend (they've worked out together twice now) and clocked in a blazing 4.38 laser 40. Keep in mind that Aguero is a well-built kid at 6-foot, 180 pounds and still has some growing to do. Aguero can play wide receiver, safety or even Viper at the next level. There is a reason Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh has taken a personal interest in this recruitment early on.
