*** Michigan made the Top 13 for 2022 Rivals250 Cumming (Ga.) West Forsyth tight end Oscar Delp. Remember, Michigan was the first school to offer Delp, which means a lot to him. It's a big reason why Michigan is a legitimate contender in this race. Delp also has a great relationship with Sherrone Moore, who is still involved in his recruitment, and is quickly building one with new position coach Jay Harbaugh. I would definitely saw Michigan is in the top half of this long list and probably top three. Georgia is pushing and an obvious threat to keep him close to home. Clemson and Florida are other southern schools that are high on his mind as well. While Michigan already has a tight end commit in Marlin Klein, the Wolverines definitely want two this cycle.

*** Michigan made the final three for2022 Rivals250 Katy (Texas) High cornerback Bobby Taylor, son of the former Notre Dame wide receiver by the same name. Taylor's father is Texas native and wasn't afraid to make his way to the Midwest out of high school. Taylor could very well do the same. While he's a new offer, he's very familiar with the Michigan program and has a great relationship with new Co-DC Maurice Linguist. In fact, Linguist has been recruiting Taylor since he was at Texas A&M and also knows those around his recruitment extremely well. With that said, I feel like Texas A&M is the heavy favorite here. The Aggies are making him a top priority and doing whatever they can to keep him close to home. Even if Taylor does commit to A&M this month, I do feel like Michigan can still get a visit. Texas is the other school still in the mix.

*** Michigan made the Top 10 for three-star 2022 Auburndale (Fla.) High safety Elijah Davis. Michigan is in it with some big names in the secondary, but Davis is a prospect that new Michigan safeties coach George Helow is high on. I recently saw Davis during my Jacksonville swing, and he is a long, athletic prospect with upside. He actually told me that Michigan is at the top of his recruitment right now. He really loves Helow as well as the tradition around the program and wants to visit after the dead period. West Virginia is the other school that Davis told me he's really high on at this time.

*** 2022 Rivals250 Spring Hill (Tenn.) Summit linebacker Keaten Wade released his Top 9 last week, and Michigan made the cut. Michigan is fresh off offering Wade, so it was definitely a positive to see the Wolverines on the list. U-M is quickly rising in this recruitment and has Wade's full attention. After all, Michigan is now making the state of Tennessee a priority, Wade worked out with U-M freshman Junior Colson and he, Colson and 2022 pledge Taylor Groves all share the same mentor. Wade likes SEC schools like Ole Miss and LSU and is intrigued by USC, but Michigan has a legit shot at keeping the momentum going in the Nashville-area.
