Here are tonight's Blue Chips...

*** Michigan is set to host Rivals100 Los Angeles (Calif.) Loyola cornerback Ceyair Wright for a self-guided tour visit on Nov. 14. With several commits in town that weekend, Wright will get an opportunity to get a true feel for the class and potential future teammates. Wright has never been to Michigan, so he is really excited to see the campus and explore Ann Arbor. Wright knows Michigan wide receiver commit Cristian Dixon well, so expect the latter to be key in recruiting him to U-M. As I've mentioned before, Wright, Dixon and Michigan freshman Darion Green-Warren were all part of the same youth program.

*** Wright has set a commitment date of Jan. 2. I have my FutureCast pick in for USC, and I still feel like that's the safe pick. Wright also took a recently self-guided tour of USC and with the ongoing pandemic, it makes a lot of sense for him to stay out West. Still, Wright has always been intrigued by Michigan. While he acted in Space Jam 2, he plans to major in business and loves what Michigan has to offer on the academic front. Wright is from the same school that produced former U-M defensive back and current NFL corner David Long, and he loves the way Michael Zordich develops talent.

*** There are still several other schools in play for Wright as well. In fact, Michigan may not be the last school he visits on his own. Ideally, Wright would love to see Oregon, Nebraska and Utah. Notre Dame remains a factor here, but Wright has already been to South Bend. Oregon is an interesting dark horse here. He has friends committed to the Ducks, has been in constant contact with that staff and did a virtual tour over the summer. Stanford is another to keep an eye on.
