Here are tonight's Blue Chips...
*** I haven't written much about Rivals100 West Bloomfield (Mich.) High running back Donovan Edwards lately because, well, there isn't anything to report. Michigan still talks to Edwards on almost a daily basis, but the four-star prospect has basically taken a step back from the recruiting process during the dead period. Edwards will start to zero in on it when visits are permitted, and then, I'm sure I'll be posting daily updates. As of now, I still feel good about the Wolverines landing him in the end. Edwards is still looking to decide in December.
*** I put in my pick for Rivals250 Elk Grove (Calif.) Monterrey Trail running back Prophet Brown to land at Oklahoma a few weeks ago. I'm told Michigan is still making a push here, but I'm not very optimistic. I feel like he is still heavily leaning towards OU. On a similar not, I'm told Michigan has basically dropped out of the race for five-star Garland (Texas) Lakeview Centennial running back Camar Wheaton. Expect him to stay south.
*** Michigan is all in for Edwards, but the Wolverines could take two backs this cycle. I'm told the Wolverines are actively pursuing three-star Austin (Texas) Del Valle running back Tavierre Dunlap. I think he's a guy that could definitely keep rising up the board. Michigan is also working on three-star Conroe (Texas) Oak Ridge running back Alton McCaskill but to a little bit of a lesser extent. Both are definitely worth keeping an eye on.
