Here are tonight's Blue Chips...
*** Rivals250 Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei wide receiver Cristian Dixon did a lot of playing around on Twitter this weekend. My biggest takeaway from all of it was the snippet he released of his commitment video. USC, LSU and Michigan are the teams featured. I don't think LSU is pushing that hard, and I don't believe USC is either. I still feel very confident in my Michigan pick unless something changes with those two schools. LSU was his dream school, and USC has had plenty of success at Mater Dei. But again, I feel like Michigan will be the landing spot at this time.
*** Speaking of commitment videos, Rivals250 Clarkston (Mich.) High offensive lineman Garrett Dellinger is set to make his decision this week and has teased his video on social media as well. I'm told the video has multiple endings and that Dellinger won't make the final, final call until early this week. Right now, I still have every reason to believe the pick is going to be LSU. With that said, Michigan hasn't been told no and is still pushing. U-M offensive line coach Ed Warinner spoke to him on three separate occasions over the last week.
*** Top wide receiver target Xavier Worthy was set to make his decision this week as well, and it became pretty clear that he was going to land at Oregon. Luckily for Michigan, Worthy has pushed back his decision date. It's unclear why he did that, but I see it as good news. I had an early pick in for Michigan, he's friends with Giles Jackson and Markus Allen and has always wanted to visit Ann Arbor. The door is open for Michigan to make a power move here.
*** Lastly, three-star offensive lineman Thomas Cole came off the board today. The Michigan staff spoke to him before he made his decision, but at the end of the day, he wanted to stay closer to home and sided with UCLA. The remaining OL targets are now Dellinger, Rocco Spindler, Drew Kendall and Nolan Rucci.
