Here are tonight's Blue Chips...
*** I mentioned three-star 2020 Owasso (Okla.) running back Isaiah Jacobs earlier in the week. It looks like Michigan is getting more involved here. Like I posted originally, Jacobs told me he still has high interest in the program and spoke with head coach Jim Harbaugh earlier this month after getting an official offer. Jacobs told me he’s looking to make an OV to Michigan as well. I’m probably going to switch up my plans next week and see him in-person.
*** Four-star 2020 Holy Names (Canada) tight end Theo Johnson was supposed to visit Michigan this weekend but will no longer be making the trip to Ann Arbor. Instead, Johnson is going to visit for the game against Michigan State. Johnson remains high on schools like Penn State and Georgia as well. He is one of Michigan’s top remaining targets this cycle.
*** Four-star 2021 Stevenson (Mich.) offensive tackle Giovanni El-Hadi told me that he would be on campus this weekend for an unofficial visit. El-Hadi gave Michigan a verbal pledge in the spring and is completely solid to the Wolverines. El-Hadi is looking forward to watching Michigan in action against Middle Tennessee State and hopes to make it to multiple games this year.
*** Houston (Texas) Bellaire Episcopal offensive lineman Cullen Montgomery has scheduled an unofficial visit to Michigan for Nov. 30 when Michigan takes on Ohio State. Montgomery has already visited Michigan in the past, so this will be his second time on campus. The three-star 2021 recruit holds a number of major offers, and Michigan is high on his list.
