I don't have the memory or desire to vet this thought. But
Has there been a bigger drop-off in two positions from one year to the next than Michigan State Basketball production at PG and C from 2019-20 to 2020-21?
Bigger drop-off from one position from one year to the next than MSU production at PG?
They went from All-American production to bottom of the barrel performers. Our QB production went from slightly above-average (Shea) to bad (Joe/Cade) can't even touch this drop-off, in my opinion. I'm willing to bet whoever replaced a generational talent like Larry Bird or Ja Morant at small schools like Indiana State or Murray State had less of a drop-off too.
Amazing they were once ranked Top 5 - this season.
