It's been a pretty good weekend for the wrestling team. They finished in 4th place and had 9 guys qualify for the NCAA championships. They were led by Dom Abounader who won the big ten title at 184. He's Michigan's first Big Ten Champion since Kellen Russel in 2012. Hopefully they will be able to carry this momentum into the NCAA championships. I've summarized the place winners below.

Youtsey - 5th at 125 (seeded 6th)
Bruno - 7th at 133 (seeded 8th)
Fisher - 9th at 141 (seeded 10th - did not qualify)
Pantelo - 4th at 149 (seeded 5th)
Murphy - 5th at 157 (seeded seeded 4th)
Sutton - 6th at 165 (seeded 12th)
Massa - 7th at 174 (seeded 9th)
Abounader - 1st at 184 (seeded 2nd)
Huntley - 5th at 197 (seeded 6th)
Coon - 3rd at HWT (seeded second - beat Medbery from Wisconsin to avenge a dual season loss in the third place match)

All in all it was a really good weekend for the wrestling team.
