I just took a look at their schedule and other than an inexplicable loss to Rutgers, close loss against Maryland on the road, and their OT game with us, they have pretty much steamrolled the Big Ten. 12 of their other 15 wins were by double figures, and the other 3 wins were all by at least 7 points.
Anything can happen of course, but they are far and away the best team in the Big Ten. Part of that is because the Big Ten is awful, but part of that is because they are really good.
Beyond that, even if the Big Ten gets 7 teams into the NCAA tourney, I really don't see anyone besides Wisconsin and Maryland having shot to get past the first weekend. Maybe Iowa if they keep playing well.
Its really too bad we are stuck in that 8/9 game as I think we could still make a run, though not necessarily win it all, if we weren't playing Wisconsin on Friday.
