I'm still not sure this Hockey Conference was a good idea.
The Big Ten got 1 team in the Tourney as a #3 seed.
The "Big Ten leftovers" make up 50% of the field. 6 NCHC teams & 2 WCHA teams. The highest rated team in the PairWise to miss the Tourney was BGSU (former CCHA/current WCHA).
The NCHC has clearly become the best conference in college hockey. They have two #1 seeds and have 6 teams ranked in the top 12 of the PairWise.
Average Attendance at Conference Tournaments:
NCHC (Minneapolis, MN) - 11,563
WCHA (St. Paul, MN) - 7,524
Big Ten (Detroit, MI) - 5,381
