Bear with me here, something about this 'investigation' has been bothering me. Tony Pettiti's statement explaining his reasoning for discipline seemed to skirt around the sign stealing and lack of evidence of such, and to me tried to focus more on the safety of Michigan's opponents player safety because they would know the plays. Whether that is in fact a safety issue or not is another debate. But Jim Harbaugh just got suspended in the name of player safety, and yet Pettiti was issued evidence of Michigan player safety being put on the line at least going back to 2018 by opponents deciphering/stealing/sharing signs amongst different teams. When will the rest of the coaches for teams in the big ten get there suspensions handed down to them? Am I missing something?
