Can we stop this nonsense before it gets started. It will never be like that again. Too many talented players going to too many different schools. Too many ways teams can play today that level the playing field. I'd love Michigan to be cakewalking into the late November showdown with everything on the line year in & year out but just not gonna happen.

Actually, I think there's a very good chance it will be like that next season. The Game will be for all the marbles.

Not saying it won't happen next year, or from time to time. Just saying it isn't going to be like the ole days when you could lay the mortgage payment down on the fact that it was going to happen.

A huge part of the reason for this would be the scholarship limitations. Didn't it used to be 110? Then 95 or 100, now 85. That's hundreds of kids every recruiting class that would've ended up at the traditional powers who now go elsewhere.
