As crazy as it may sound, take away the drops and the penalties (including numerous questionable/bogus PI's), and this team is undefeated and probably ranked in the top-5 in the country.
Think about it; and maybe add a couple of PI's that we should've received on offense, that would've kept drives alive. As bad as a few individuals have under-performed on both sides of the ball, the fact is, this team is not that far off -- especially in a season where college football is basically garbage, with no one looking consistently good.
I say UM puts it all together tonight, and puts away an overrated UW team with ease. Do not be surprised if come 10:30 pm tonight, the final score is something along the lines of: Michigan 34, Wisconsin 24. Bottom line, Wisconsin does not have the speed in the backfield to make the Michigan front-7 pay, and I expect the UM DB's to play much better. And if Mertz does not play, this could turn into a UM blowout. But FYI: Wisconsin doesn't know it yet, but their 3rd string QB, Vandenboom, is better than their backup. So I hope Wolf is the fill in.
