Our roster was young and relatively weak before we lost Levert so once we lost him I was concerned we might not win another Big Ten game.....but don't ever count out JB. I still don't expect us to win many more games but it's amazing what can be done with a great coach. I'm pretty sure JB realizes this team isn't going far but he will do the best he can do to develop the players and keep them competing at a high level. Just a great win on the road after losing our best player.

Guys played hard. Coaches coached hard. Nice effort...

but I thought to myself...damn...Rutgers isn't very good. Like PSU level.

Max B is a guy who might be able to step out and hit some shots. MAAR had some nice drives. Dawkins has some nice upside.

All that being said....this team isn't going anywhere. I was impressed at how focused they played and maybe these guys will relax and surprise me at how competitive they can be against some teams. Opponents may take this team lightly...who knows.

P.S. Dang...Chatman can't even stay on the floor now and gets booted in favor of his walk-on teammates.

RM, I totally agree this team is not going anywhere this year....I actually think we'd be fortunate to make the NIT. Given our roster I just don't see us winning many more games. Beilein is an outstanding coach but he's not a miracle worker and once we list Levert I knew we were doomed.

By the way, I agree on Chatman. He has been a major disappointment. Hopefully he works hard to develop his game and comes back next year a much improved player. Irvin has also been a major disappointment. He actually looks worse than his freshman season and doesn't take charge as many of us expected. At this point he does not remotely look like a future NBA player.
