Hear a lot of chatter about Bama might be the best team ever. Looking at their wins:

• USC (5-3) including a loss to a pretty terrible Stanford team
• Ole Miss (3-5) tough schedule but they have yet to beat a ranked team
• Arkansas (5-3)
• Tenn (5-3) and should have had 2 more losses. They just lost to South Carolina!!!
• Texas A&M (7-1) whose best win has been Auburn (6-2). Auburn is pretty decent this year.

While on paper their schedule looks hard and yes they pass the eye-ball test, they have beaten teams that are good in names and historically versus anyone that is playing at a consistently high level right now. This is a weak year for the SEC.

And this is why I love College Football. Fans all over the country can fuss & stew & are argue all season long about their team with mucho passion! Fact is the last 2 National Champs DID NOT go undefeated so on 1 given Saturday they were technically NOT the best team in the country. Bottom line, don't worry about the other guy (Bama), line up, play em one at a time, hope you do enough to get you into the final four & make the most of it when you get there!
