I have been keeping tabs on Spartahhh camp where the 2020 brave 300 are honing their skills before going to crush the B1G on their march to glory!
This is a quick cupboard inventory update from the new staff. But this describes where their staff is at with the tight end position.
They are repping a walk-on punter at tight end: Welcome Tyler Hunt, the baddest of Spartan Dawg Punters ever. That is 6' 2", 235 pounds of iron, Tyler Hunt, waiting to pound linebackers across the B1G.
From Dream Teamer TE coach Jay Johnson

The biggest surprise at the tight end, however, is the emergence of walk-on punter Tyler Hunt as a potential contributor.
“Tyler Hunt came in and has really done some good things,” Johnson said. “He is more in the specialist category and you guys have never probably heard of him but he has come in and done some good things.”
Hunt, who emerged as a contributor in 2018 in the role of starting punter for five games before suffering an ACL injury, served as Michigan State’s holder on special teams last season and was also active in kick coverage. He also returned a kick-off against Wake Forest in the Pinstripe Bowl.

Let that wash over you. They are giving reps, 3 weeks before the season to a walk on, 6'2" punter.
Not only repping him. They are talking positively about it. Like it's a good thing.
28 Days Till Spartageddon.
