To be fair, they more discussed the pregame stuff. I think we'll have more band during the games, but I just don't think the piped in music will be completely eliminated.

Agreed. I don't think they'd WANT to be the only music. They don't want to play at every break in the action. If I had to guess, it will be a mix with a higher percentage of band than before, but we'll probably still hear some things. I could do without Sweet Caroline and Lose Yourself though.

As a fan of rock and heavy metal, I think AC/DC is bland when it comes to my music taste, but as a tool to pump the crowd up, I think they're good. Sandstorm works as well. If Hackett does his research, I'm sure he'll find that older fans don't like the music piped in, but students like it. Does this surprise anyone?

I hope the students don't like Sweet Caroline, and I'm a way older fan/alum who hates Sweet Caroline ... but does like some piped in music ... stuff that can help fire up the crowd ... Start Me UP by the Stones, Journey, any homeboy Seger, and ... it's time to "steal" Jump from Wiskey.

One thing I think we can all agree on ... just can't enough cowbells!!!
