them coming up short when rutgers called time out probably changed his mind.
Said the same thing at the game and he and his staff have done this over and over again for 2 + years now; not being aggressive enough to close out games and on some of those fourth and shorts where the downside of missing it is very small. Same exact thing happened at IU.
I agree but in a game like yesterday when you know chances are you'll move the ball next possession and it's not likely they'll move the ball on your D, you can take points and try to execute better on the next drive.
