Another trip down there and I have nothing but good things to report (besides the actual game of course). Checked into our hotel, lots of Buckeye fans that were all really nice and wanting to talk football. Went out to dinner and had some drinks - same thing there. Got out to the tailgate at a little before 7am and talked to dozens of Buckeye fans who wanted to make sure we were having a good experience and no crazies were harassing us. Lots of great quality football talk between rivals. Walking into the game was fine, majority of the people yelling O-H when we walked by. Didn't get harassed by a single person in the game, or in the long ass lines to the bathroom. The depressing walk back to the car was awful but not a single confrontation. This was my 6th trip. All 6 have been similar experiences.
I say all this because all I read on this board is how awful it is down there, and they'll never go to a game in Columbus. Truly believe this is why they have such a ridiculous home field advantage. Our fans are flat out scared to travel. Hopefully this post inspires someone who's never been to change their stance in 2020.
