The original deal was expected to be $1.1B but with the additions of USC and UCLA that is now expected to rise.
Fox has a deal in place to be primary partner, while CBS is expected to be secondary with afternoon games.
The battle for the third potential provider has picked up, with Apple reengaged and Amazon still involved.
That could mean Big Ten games being aired on a digital platform requiring subscription.
