That was pathetic. Everybody, from my brother before the third down play, to my wife watching with me as we got up after the first down and ran time off the clock, to everyone else knew that if you decide to run the ball, burn your last timeout, and then run it again, you have to clock the ball to preserve as much time as possible in case you got tackled short of the end zone. Everybody...well, I guess almost everybody. This isn't the first time we've looked horrific in the two minute offense. It should absolutely be the last.
And please, please don't let the fact that the ref dropped the ball divert anyone from what happened there. That happens. We screwed up. Big time. Simple as that.
