Obviously a 15-0 season and we are all eating our words. But...
  • 10-2 or 11-1 with a loss to OSU - is that a success? Or do we care "how much" we lost to OSU by, especially if OSU goes 12-0. It would be our 4th 10+ win season but he would be 0-6 against OSU (since I am assuming there is no game next weekend).
  • 9-3 with losses to the 3 teams that will probably be better then us - Wisconsin, PSU and OSU. Are we calling for his firing at that time because he will have lost to ranked opponents again?
  • 8-4 season in a year where we have tons of transfers and we are rebuilding again?
  • 7-5 with losses to NW, IU, PSU, Wisconsin and Washington but somehow we finally beat OSU and we eek out a win against MSU. What then?
  • Obviously anything under 8 wins would be considered a complete failure.
I see posts about "who should be his staff" but the bigger question should be that regardless of his staff, what would we say is success?
