LOCKS: Michigan, OSU, Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin

Yes, the Badgers are 15-7, 9-6, but still 19 NET and top 15 KenPom. They still have two games with Iowa, one with Illinois and at Purdue along with a game at NW. The only way it gets dicey, IMO, is if they lose all five.

NEXT TIER: Purdue, Rutgers, Indiana

The Boilers are 26 NET, Rutgers 29, Indiana 42. Indiana could really use some signature wins down the stretch.

A STEP BELOW: Minnesota, Maryland. The Golden Gophers are 0-8 on the road, No. 57 and dropping like a rock in NET and are 2-5 in their last seven since beating Michigan, including two losses to Maryland. U-M laid an egg up there, and we predicted this would look worse down the road. Well, it does. The Gophers aren't good and are one of the last four teams in as of now.

Maryland is one of the first four out as of now, but is 36th in NET.

LOTS OF WORK TO DO: Penn State. The Nits will get their first shot tonight to play their way in, playing Ohio State at home. They still have Iowa and Maryland on the road and Minnesota and Purdue at home. There's some hope here.

GONNA TAKE A MIRACLE: Michigan State. The Spartans are No, 92 in NET and 4-9 in conference with games remaining at Indiana and Maryland, probably Michigan, and home against Ohio State, Illinois and Michigan.

NO CHANCE: Northwestern and Nebraska. Remember that 3-0 start by the Wildcats? We barely do, either.
