Isn't that all that is?
We're Michigan. We don't need to try harder. We don't need to coach harder. We're better than they are. We have better athletes. Better coaches. We're a better school. A better program. Better everything. So when they stop us, well, we don't need to adjust. Because we're better.
Except we aren't.
So maybe next time we'll try harder. We'll coach harder. We'll play harder.
And then we'll win. And we'll say, oh yeah, we're better than they are.
And then we'll lose again.
Isn't it really that simple?
