My appreciation for The Fort and its members continues to grow. While being a member of the The Fort for awhile and reading daily I sometimes take for granted the uniqueness of this board. This board is very much like a family. While some members are UM Graduates, some members like myself were blessed to have a Dad who was a Michigan Die Hard because of his brother going to UM Medical School. Like all of us we bleed, sweat and cry maize and blue. In my eyes its like a big crazy family with many adopted kids, and yes even a couple of those crazy uncles. While sometimes I get frustrated with comments left by people as we all do, I think for the most part people respect each other's opinion. With that being said I know negative post or comment will be applied to this post either on my spelling, grammar or topic but that's okay its the right of individuals on this board. I just had a conversation with @MaizeBlaze and we realized we had known each other for a long time and his Dad was a tremendous role model for me growing up. This conversation made me wonder how many different Fort Members I know or have crossed paths with without realizing it. I think the moderators do a great job of giving us information and playing the role of "parent" and keeping the board in line when someone's opinion might go to far. This is board covers such a wide range of individuals it truly is amazing. The range of professionals is even more amazing I gather by just reading different post. I enjoy the nuggets of information people post. While most members are not "insiders" many get some information through different sources (family, co-worker, friend, etc.) this information is one of the best parts of The Fort. Sorry for the long post but wanted to share my thoughts and thank the many Fort Members for making this a great board to post.
