those late night, safe-space discussion groups you're were hoping UM would restart in Ann Arbor by recruiting nice, soft players. These guys look more like the bad intentioned, rattle-your-fillings types that were on the field against your vaunted Cats this fall (you know, when your guys were writhing and flopping on our turf like carp out of water). EvanstonCat and other NW fans must be so upset with Harbaugh now that Jordan Elliott, who a week ago said he was 100% committed to Michigan and not taking any more trips, was in Texas this past weekend and now leaning Texas. That dirty Harbaugh!

So, I guess now with Rashad Weaver getting Harbaughed, it's hard to defend the pulled offers from committed players crap (outright lies) that was prevalent on this board. Now, we're just down to - kids break their word, so why shouldn't we. Well, like I said, Michigan has crossed a line. Most of you appear to be ok with that if it means winning. I would not be. Let's just leave it at that.

No actually we're down to pressing the ignore button for one tune Billys like yourself that claim to know all things. You don't therefore we reject your premises and laugh at your conclusions. We haven't accepted a damn thing you've said beyond 38-0 conclusions we derived from the season. Those are lucid, clear, irrefutable facts and numbers that are warming us this winter night, the rest is your ongoing morality fiction that you're creating ex nihilo. That's right. Oh...the other guy is doing bad things so I guess I'll play the same game. See the problem with this argument that Elliott is a manipulative recruit so we will do the same thing affects the other guys who aren't manipulative.

If you told me Elliott committed 3 times to 3 different schools and then UM pulled the plug on him then that wouldn't be right (adults/University) but it would be ironic. Not nice to do it to kids who 'negotiated' in good faith.

These issues are worse than anything that happened with practice gate. Is it Ed Martin/Steve Fisher level? No but UM is going to be roundly criticized for this issue. It's a short term plan to get UM back on top and then they feel it won't impact them (see Alabama). Maybe by that time Harbaugh will have worn out his welcome.

Just be more straight up with these borderline guys. Just tell these kids that if there are schollies available at the end then we might offer you but we are going to get the best possible talent because we are here to win. It's okay...just be straight with kids.
