Poor coaching?

Poor coaching?

Look poor sometimes when plays that are clearly there are not executed.

One completed stretch pass from Speight and Michigan wins.

Play calling on both sides was questionable, but the O plays called were there to be made, and weren't made. Ball game.

Go Blue. Always.

These games will happen. Undefeated seasons are rare, and road games are tough.

In the big picture, Michigan still controls their destiny. The coaches won't do it, but as a fan --- just burn the tape and move on.

Not totally sure why they lean on Deveon Smith in the run game.

Evans is more effective.

I suppose it is a matter of experience and trust, but...still...

Go Blue. Always.

In a clock burning situation smith and isaac are better evans is more effective when the defense has to respect the pass in normal situations

Roughing the kicker would have been 15 yards, not 5 yard back to back running into the kicker calls.

Both teams played hard. Passing game hurt both teams on Saturday in a hard fought game, that is often competitive, since 1981.

No Heisman moments from the best player in the stadium.

One big game changer was all it would have taken.

The Play calling when we needed one 1st down to seal the game was head scratching.
1.) Smith up the middle - too predictable
2.) Jabrill running the wildcat - predictable and hadn't been working.
3.) And then when we need 8 yards, we throw a 30 yard pass and our QB gets decked. This is really interesting. Can anyone explain this?

1 first down and the game is over.

Speight having by far his worst game was the single biggest factor. There will always be plays here and there that go against a team, but you can't win a game with Iowa Speight.

This game exposed all the weaknesses we knew the team had. Hoke recruited some positions well, but we knew OL, QB, and LB were three position groups that have been woeful under Hoke/Borges. Harbaugh has done a good job up until Saturday of hiding these things.
