You’re missing the point. This is a non playoff game bowl game. There are no meaningful stakes. A win is great, but it’s just not that big of a deal. This is an also-ran game for the also-rans, of which we are one.
The best thing for this program is honestly for every NFL player to sit it out. Give the next group meaningful playing time. This game is about the future not the past.
Those of you talking about players “owing something to the program” obviously were never college athletes. These kids have sacrificed and given all they could for 3-4 years. They’ve dealt with Countless Twitter assholes and a million Monday morning quarterbacks.
