Anyone hear how '74 is doing?

Hey guys my father passed away on last Friday the 29th. We had viewing and funeral this past Friday and Saturday. So much complications and we are all heart broken .. his diaphragm has completely become paralyzed and without it could not survive ... I wrote and told the fort of all of this and the support has been amazing. He loved all of you guys who showed support and love for University of Michigan. We were all praying for a victory this weekend but it wasn’t meant to be.

He loved Michigan more than probably everything except his family. I appreciate all of you guys for being a football friend to my dad

I am very sorry to hear Matt. Terrible news. I was always encouraged by your dad's faith, to the point of always looking for his posts and comments. He's such a passionate and respectful guy, full of dignity and honor. The fact that you post here to keep us in the loop says a ton about you too Matt. I am so sorry for your loss. I am glad he's not suffering. I am praying for you and your family.
Go Blue & God Bless.

These forums were part of what he loved. He loved God, he loved Football, his family, and Michigan. Could never be more grateful as a son that his father did what he loved and never looked back. He will miss you all, and I sure hope I can keep contributing as he did to this

We had hoped to meet up for a game last year and I was looking very forward to pressing the flesh all the way from the West Coast. I guess the next chance to meet with Al is on the "other side." RIP and blessings to you and your family.
