It seems to be a given that cut blocking produces more knee injuries but it is so taken for granted that I'm surprised rules haven't been adjusted or how the service academies can ethically continue this style of play if it actually greatly increases serious knee injuries.
Is this conventional wisdom or do the service academies actually end numerous seasons/careers with serious knee injuries, more so than any other team?
