1. Until after the SP8 injury Peters was not getting close to enough reps to play him unless absolutely emergency.
2. He had not developed the command he needed until getting that opportunity
3. Jim knew J’OK was not the long term answer but believe we could beat a bad MSU team with him and didn’t want to destroy Peters confidence vs a superior PSU team at night during a white out.
4. That leads to today when it was time to see if his development would transfer to the field against an over matched opponent.
5. Won the game, got some confidence, now we give him a ton of reps the next three weeks to see where it goes.
