I had no clue what he did for EMU before going to learn more under Tedford at Fresno State. Hurdles for someone like this is Pep in year 2 of a 4 year deal AND JH turning into a GM role and giving up play-calling duties. I'm sorry but JH, Pep and Jim Mac just don't move the needle by evidence so far. I really do believe if the O does not show much improvement that JH is able to swallow his pride enough to go outside for help and not through hiring just "friends" that do it his way only. He went outside the friend zone for a defensive mind and his strength program. I'd LOVE for JH to find his Don Brown of offense but keep in mind it would probably not be someone that will stay long, if he can make the offense potent. But installing an effective style, system and Identity is really needed. We lucked out with Don Brown.
