Just landed in Denver. Wife was craving a bagel 🥯 and we went to 2 places. While she was in line paying for her bagel I stepped out into the concourse. Low and behold along comes Caleb Houston with a couple of his Magic team mates. I gave him a big GO BLUE and he reciprocated.
He is not our old friend. A minute or so behind him came Jalen Suggs. Now that's my dawg. Worked with when he was 16 and 17 yrs old. Honestly I did one of the craziest things that I now do regularly to get him running and playing again.
Jaylen has ALWAYS been a great young man who has never forgot where he came from. Takes time for even old farts like me. We will get down to see him play again this winter!
The guys came to watch Deion's practice and just hang out in Colorado for a few days.
It's always a big thrill to see the young men I worked with from years gone by.
