New head coach Mel Pearson has added another forward commit for the class of '19, a class that really needed pumping up when he took over the reins from Red Berenson.

In the last month, Pearson also picked up commitments from highly regarded forwards John Beecher and Dylan Wendt for the class of '19.

Forward (likely to play center) Nicholas Zabaneh, 5-10 177, of the Toronto Marlboros (a 5th round pick of Saginaw of the OHL) has also now committed to Michigan.

Known for his skating and quickness, Zabaneh may join fellow '19 Wolverine and fellow Ontarian, defenseman Mike Vukojevic with Green Bay of the USHL. Both are Green Bay draft picks.

How good is this kid?

Never seen him play. Garnering a fifth round OHL slot and a decent USHL draft slot indicates that some value him. Would probably guess he's behind Beecher and Wendt if you were to rank him, but ultimately it's how he performs when he arrives.
