Former Michigan coach Brady Hoke, fired after four seasons, is refuting a report that he will be an assistant coach for Notre Dame.

CoachingSearch.com reported Wednesday morning that Hoke would join head coach Brian Kelly's staff.

"Not going to ND," Hoke wrote in a text message to GoBlueWolverine.com managing editor Sam Webb, also a Detroit News contributor
