I don't want to dog pile on WS...he is what he is. Yet the staff seems to believe he is the best option we have on the roster as well.
My question, a much bigger one, is after 3 recruiting classes (ok, 2.5 i suppose) how can Harbaugh not have better QB play?
Alabama and FSU are starting true Sophomores. We have seen true Frosh & Sophs like Winston, Lamar Jackson, Rosen, DeShaun Watson and many others across the country in recent years (so simple "youth" isn't a blanket excuse).
Just asking for actual thoughts, reflections and opinions...not flames.
Misevaluation of QB recruits/talent by JH and coaches?
Overconfidence in his own ability to coach QBs? (meaning he thinks he can do significantly more with lesser raw product than he really can).
Subpar QB recruiting efforts in general? (as in: failure to convince the high level kids & future stars to sign on)
What is it? Because a former All-American QB (who was also an All-Pro in the NFL and who has put a guy like Andrew Luck into the League) must know the QB play these past 5 games in a row isn't up to snuff...and it would be a damn shame if QB play was the "weak link" on an otherwise championship-level team. Again.
