Maybe Brandon was right. I can’t believe I’m saying that. I get that we’ve lost a lot of veteran players. I even expected this to be a mediocre season. By that I mean tough games against Wisconsin and PSU and losing to OSU, and winning the rest with one possible bad loss. I didn’t have championship aspirations because I knew we wouldn’t beat OSU. But I thought this year could be a great building block towards a championship next year. But we’re not even close. Even if Harbaugh fires Brown, that defense will be a two to three year rebuilding project. That might not be terrible if we had an offense that could score, but we will either have Milton or a true freshman. Both those scenarios will result in an inconsistent offense. I just don’t know how Harbaugh could let it get this bad. Since I know he won’t be fired, I’m hoping he has the want to do what needs to be done. Otherwise, why did we fire Hoke? At least he beat Ohio state and played them somewhat competitively.
