I was really only that upset about two throws... the second pick and the wide open wheel route. The rest of his troubles seemed to be with timing... he is playing with a whole new set of receivers and tight ends, most of whom were playing their first extended minutes in an actual college football game. If we think about the first half of Jake Rudock's season, timing was a huge problem... it is something that can be figured out in a handful of games. His decision making was solid, though he didn't see a few opportunities up the seam and in the flat (seemed slightly gunshy after the second pick).
