After 2 weeks of the season with one real game...

The season gets back going, again.

Listening to what Mel had to say in preparation for this weekend, I'm betting Mann will get the net over Lavigne. Not sure why Haden is struggling withe puck, given how strong of a season he finished with. Unless is just hang over from the last goal he let in (which was pretty bad).

But the D needs to step up and reduce the chances, too. While our shooters are still missing their target (mostly), they are shooting a lot. So I'm less worried about scoring vs getting scored on. Right now, we can score, but can't keep up with a lot of them.

Should be fun to see us play Western, again.

Fun, but stressful at the end, that's for sure. The D has a lot of work to do- just too many times they don't control the puck or don't talk to each other.

But what a fun offense.

Well, lose a game (Saturday) that we led after 2 periods - that's a negative checkmark. We have enough veterans (including 5 on D) that losing leads in the 3P is not something I expect.

And the 5 on 3's that we gave Western didn't help much. They have a long way to go.
